    @skampster You …
    @skampster You definitely should! We have seen the Lattissima machines but have not played with them in the store yet. – Kat

    I love my Arpeggio …
    I love my Arpeggio and Livanto capsules!

  • skampster says:

    Anyway, you guys …
    Anyway, you guys have a nice shop, if I’m ever in seattle, I’ll drop by.

    You should get a Lattissima Machine on display, best Nespresso Machine to date.

    @skampster I like …
    @skampster I like it straight; it’s smooth and spicy, I find, and is a nice afternoon variation from my usual drink. – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Ok, do you have the …
    Ok, do you have the super Arpeggio shot black or with milk? Im going to try it.

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster No, I …
    @skampster No, I get your point. We just disagree, and that’s okay. – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Yeah, but I dont …
    Yeah, but I dont think you are really getting my point, as you have said “this is just Nespresso” and i agree with you, it ain’t as good as the real thing, and that is even MORE reason to not over extract those little pods!!! More so, if you do do it on a review, at least make note to the viewers that what you are doing is personal preference.

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster Having …
    @skampster Having lived with one for many years, I was only baiting, darling. ;) – Kat

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster We have …
    @skampster We have tested all of them, in all formats and extractions. It’s still not as good as grinding, tamping and pulling a shot from a lever or semi-auto. Sorry, but it’s not. It’s a serviceable shot, and that’s it. – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Well your talking …
    Well your talking to an Australian, So vegimite of course.

  • skampster says:

    @SeattleCoffeeGear …
    @SeattleCoffeeGear – this so makes me laugh, you compare it to traditional coffee, being not as good (duh) but you then over extract the crap out of a pod and say how nice it is?????

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster Ha! :D
    @skampster Ha! :D Really? You’re splitting hairs over Nespresso and dissing Starbucks? Next we’ll be getting into a marmite v. vegemite tete a tete. – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Yeah, who am I …
    Yeah, who am I kidding, Americans invented Starbucks.

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster Yeah, …
    @skampster Yeah, giving our opinion is the point of this channel, because we experiment and try different things and have fun with it. So if you’re not into other people’s opinions about coffee and espresso, this is probably not the channel for you. :D – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Well in future, if …
    Well in future, if you are going to do a review on a product, stick to the products specifications and dont inflict your opinion on how it should be used, let them figure that out for themselves.
    I know that if someone served me an excessively long arpeggio shot for the first time, id be put? off the product.

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster coffee …
    @skampster coffee is more personal preference than anything. After working with it for over 20 years, I know there is not one “rule” that actually applies across the board. And, seriously, this conversation is like comparing how to grill Kraft cheese sandwiches. – Kat

  • skampster says:

    Yeah, well for …
    Yeah, well for people who have a coffee shop and seem to be experts, over extracting coffee is a big no-no, but hey, do what you will as you say.

  • SeattleCoffeeGear says:

    @skampster “should” …
    @skampster “should”? Please. This is Nespresso. I love Arpeggio long shots — with capsule coffee, do what you will. — Kat

  • skampster says:

    You guys should not …
    You guys should not be pouring that much water through an Arpeggio Capsule.

    Arpeggio is for 40 ml shots only, if you want a 140ml pour, use the Lungo capsules.

    Hi Kat,

    I’m one of those lazy people and I own a Nespresso Cube. I wanted to mention the drip tray didn’t stay up because the power button (red button) was pressed.

    Nice review.

    henbz!

    They are doing a …
    They are doing a sale on the capsules right now — which would bring the whole cost of ownership down, as you’ll get a $50 credit in the coffee club. Don’t know if they’ll ever discount the machines, I suspect a lot of their sales/discounts will be around the capsules since that’s part of their product marketing approach. – Kat

  • LJRockstar says:

    My only objection …
    My only objection is with the price. The only moderately priced piece of equipment ranges from 200 to 250 and does not have any milk frothing device. This piece called the aerochino costs extra. They really should have a sale one day.
