Can an Espresso or Cappuccino machine be used to brew Tea ?

Would this damage the Machine ?
Would the Tea taste bad ?

no because they arent set up to hold tea bags.. the handle in which the grounds goes in has to be firmly pressed in the machine

    Those machines are meant to brew very quickly, so I would think they might not produce a quality cup of tea. Also, once coffee has been brewed in the machine, tea will taste bad because of the residue coffee leaves behind.
