is it possible to be hired in a coffee shop here in the philippines as a barista without having any educational background or experience in coffee making? im talking about coffee shops like starbucks, figaro, coffee bean, etc.
and also please give me tips on how to have a good chance of getting the job.

i believe so. it doesn’t take to be a college graduate to be a barista. but there are short courses offered by tesda on being a barista better have that certificate than a college degree.
